Join The Moi!

The Men of Independence (aka - MOI) is a premiere men’s, a capella singing organization, specializing in the barbershop style.  

Organizationally, we strive to grow musically and our new members help us along our journey.  Our membership is open to all willing to join us deliver tight, four part harmonies..  We are also a selective, performing ensemble in that each of our members has auditioned to earn their place to stand with us on the risers.  The audition process isn’t difficult or complicated, but it is a requirement for all members of the MOI.

We invite you to take that first stop and see what the MOI is all about.   

  • If you haven’t yet visited, you are invited to visit one of our Thursday night rehearsals to see and hear the MOI.  On your first visit, you will have an opportunity to sing with us and to learn more about our organization.  Your barbershop journey starts with your first visit.  Join us at our next guest night to learn how to be at the "Corner of Ontario and Carnegie" to perform the National Anthem at a Guardians game!
  • If you’ve already visited our rehearsal, we hope you enjoyed yourself and are considering membership in our brotherhood of music.
